AWC La Paz to host Start Up Saturday for future students

October 4, 2018

Parker, AZ (October 4, 2018) – Let Arizona Western College help you explore, discover, and achieve your academic goals.

AWC La Paz campuses are gearing up for a one-day event that will assist future students through the enrollment process. AWC staff will be available to guide attendees each step of the way – through admissions, Accuplacer placement testing, registration, financial aid and advising.

Start Up Saturday will be held Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AWC Parker Learning Center, 1109 Geronimo Ave.

This event will resemble a resource fair, with AWC team members at stations throughout the center to help potential students complete the entire enrollment process in an afternoon.

Participants will need to bring a driver’s license or state ID for proof of identification. High school students who do not have an ID can bring a high school issued student ID along with their birth certificate.

Once the online application is submitted and processed, the Accuplacer testing platform will help determine which Spring 2019 courses to plan and register for. An AWC team member will also guide participants with the financial aid process from start to finish.
