“Build Your Future” during AWC open house

Yuma, AZ (March 13, 2019) – Interested in attending Arizona Western College or starting a new career path?

The community is invited to the Build Your Future Open House on Wednesday, March 20, to come out and see what certificate and degree programs the college has to offer, meet associated clubs, interact with simulation labs, talk to educational leaders, and meet industry professionals.

The open house will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the 3C Building and Breezeway, located on the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the campus and gain hands-on Career and Technical Education (CTE) experience through the VirTra Systems Simulation Lab, Welding Lab, Heating/Ventilation/Air-Conditioning Lab, and Engineering Lab.

CTE programs in attendance will include: Agriculture, Computer Information Systems, Administration of Justice/Homeland Security, Nursing, Cyber Criminology, Radiologic Technologies, Licensed Massage Therapy, Culinary Arts, Automotive, Welding, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science, Law Enforcement, Electrical Technologies, Drafting and Construction, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Solar Technologies, Mathematics and Engineering, Community Health Worker, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Geospatial Technologies.
