Transferring to AWC

If you are planning to transfer credits from another college or university to AWC, please visit the Admissions and Registration website and carefully review the process for the Official Evaluation of Transfer Credit

Advisors may approve students to register for AWC courses that have pre-requisites using official or unofficial transcripts from another institution.  All transfer students are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor to determine course eligibility and for assistance in initial registration at AWC.

Please note: the Admissions and Registration office will not begin the credit evaluation process until students have registered for a minimum of six (6) at AWC.

Transferring from AWC

If you are planning to transfer to another college or university after attending AWC, visit the Transfer Services office for assistance.  The Transfer Services office provides students with transfer-related services, opportunities, and information such as:

• University representative visits to AWC campus.
• University field trips to Arizona universities.
• Information Sessions on general transferring, transfer process for specific universities (ASU, U of A, NAU, and others) and International Students.

All students planning to transfer to an Arizona university should visit the AZTransfer website.

Graduating and Transferring

If you are planning to complete a Transfer Degree and/or AGEC Certificate before you transfer, you must submit an Application for Graduation.  Please visit the Admissions and Registration website and carefully review the graduation application process.

To determine your eligibility for a degree or certificate, you may use the Program Evaluation tool on WebAdvisor or schedule an appointment with an advisor.  Students associated with earlier catalogs can check program requirements by looking up previous catalogs and running the program evaluation for the correct catalog year.
