Transferring to AWC
Advisors may approve students to register for AWC courses that have pre-requisites using official or unofficial transcripts from another institution. If you are planning to officially transfer credits from another college or university to AWC, please review the process for the Official Evaluation of Transfer Credit.
If you are trying to register for courses that have pre-requisites which you have satisfied at another institution, please follow these steps.
Download and complete a Registration Form. Make sure specify the course section number for the class(es) you want to enroll in.
Submit your completed Registration Form along with a copy of your unofficial transcripts to your local Advising Office. You may also send your request to Advisement.Services@azwestern.edu.
All transfer students are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor to determine course eligibility and for assistance in initial registration at AWC. Please note: the Transfer Services office will not begin the credit evaluation process until students have registered for a minimum of six (6) at AWC.
