If you are a current AWC student, please review the following steps which help you successfully accomplish your academic goals.

Declare your Major

  • If you have decided on which degree or certificate you plan to pursue at AWC, please make sure that this information is correct in our system.

  • To check if you are under the correct degree or certificate, log in to WebAdvisor and click on My Profile (you will find this link right below the My Class Schedule link).

  • If the academic program listed is incorrect, or if you have decided to pursue a different degree or certificate, schedule an appointment with an advisor to have your major changed.  You may also visit the Admissions & Registration office and submit a Change of Major Form

  • If you are undecided on which degree or certificate you plan to pursue at AWC, you should meet with an Academic Advisor and ask for assistance on how to choose a major.  You may also visit the Career Exploration area as there are many resources which can help you further discover your career, academic, and personal interests.

Review your Academic Progress

  • As an AWC student, there are several tools which you can use to keep track of your academic progress.

  • Program Check Sheets are quick reference guides which list all the requirements for any degree or certificate that AWC offers.  You may download and print these PDF files at any time and keep them for reference.

  • A Program Evaluation checks your academic progress by looking at your degree/certificate requirements, the academic credits you've already earned, the courses for which you're registered, and the courses which you or your advisor have planned. Based on that information, the evaluation determines what you still need in order to complete your degree or certificate.

  • To access your Program Evaluation, log in to WebAdvisor and look for the Program Evaluation link under the Academic Planning menu.

  • Remember that keeping track of your academic progress is your responsibility.
