EMPLOYMENT

The ARS office is looking for students to hire as Accommodation Assistants:

  • Note Takers
  • Lab aides
  • Readers
  • Scribes
  • Office assistant

Job Descriptions

Note Taker: Write notes in class for student(s) with a disability. You must be able to write English well.

Lab aid: Learn the adaptive technology in the Assistive Technology Lab to assist students with disabilities as they work in the lab.

Readers: Read text books and other class materials onto audio tape. You must be able to read clearly and with a fluent cadence.

Office Assistant: Work in the ARS Office to assist the Coordinator and assist in the testing center for students with disabilities who need a reader and/or writer for their exams.
