Transferring Credit to Arizona Western College

Advising

Transcripts are needed for accurate student advisement; the advisors may choose not to approve a program of classes if official transcripts are not available. Consequently, it is required that all official transcripts be on file along with a formal request for evaluation in the Transfer Services Office prior to advisement and registration for classes.

Evaluation Process

  • The process of evaluation of credits may take up to three weeks once the student has register for a minimum of six credits, request for evaluation and official transcripts have been submitted.
  • Posting (follow up with Admissions)
  • Transcripts may be required for admission to academic programs or from specific individuals or groups; e.g., nursing program students, athletes, financial aid, and Veterans benefit recipients.
  • Nursing and Radiology students must request official transcripts to be sent directly to Transfer Services at least two months before applying to the program.

Acceptable transcripts must bear the imprint of the official school seal and be sent directly from the issuing institution to the AWC Transfer Services Office.
