MISSION

Our mission is to assist people in pursuit of their goals using a holistic approach that enhances their future plans and maximizes their potential for success.

Advisement services provides academic and career assistance to students. Students are advised to take advantage of the services provided by our staff. The students will be more successful if they periodically review their academic plans and career goals with an academic counselor/advisor.

CONTINUING STUDENTS

Continuing students and students who have declared a major may contact their Division Advisor, please click here for a list of advisors in your field of study.

NEW STUDENTS

If you have declared a major, and are eligible to take general education courses and courses for your major, please check with your Division Advisor for advisement. A detailed list of programs offered by Arizona Western College is listed here.

UNDECIDED STUDENTS

Research shows that students who have declared a major are more successful than those who do not declare a major. However if you are still undecided, meet with an academic counselor/advisor to ask for assistance on how to declare a major.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

Please start researching on the universities of your choice as soon as possible. It is not too early to start with this process. You may also visit our Transfer Services Department for further assistance. (This applies to students graduating from AWC and students transfering in to AWC)
