Disclosure of Graduation/Completion and Transfer-out Rates

Arizona Western College is pleased to provide the following information regarding our institution's graduation/completion and transfer-out rates. The information is provided in compliance with the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. The rates reflect the graduation/completion and transfer-out status of our full-time, first-time, degree or certificate seeking undergraduates and student athletes that received athletic financial aid who enrolled during the 2006-2007 school year for whom 150% of the normal time-to-completion has elapsed.

During the fall semester of 2006, 586 first-time, full-time, certificate or degree-seeking undergraduate students entered Arizona Western College. After 3 years (i.e., as of August 31, 2009), 18% of these students had graduated from our institution or completed their programs and 17% had transferred to other higher education institutions.

Enrollment of our full-time, degree-/certificate-seeking undergraduates and students who received athletically-related aid during the 2008-2009 school year is also provided.

Questions related to this report should be directed to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Grants at (928) 344-7620.

While reviewing this information, please bear in mind:

  • All graduation rates are based upon three years of attendance, which equates to 150% of the normal completion time of our longest program.

  • These charts do not identify the reasons why our students withdrew; therefore, students who withdrew for personal or medical reasons are included.

  • Graduation and transfer-out rates do not include students who left school to serve in the armed forces or on official church missions or with a foreign aid service of the federal government, or students who died or were totally and permanently disabled.

  • A pound sign (#) denotes any cohort/sub cohort with fewer than five students. The College is not required to disclose this information. A "N/A" denotes not applicable (cohort/sub cohort had no students).
