PREPARING FOR THE 2009 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Graduation Process

• Complete the required graduation procedures.  Students who do not submit their graduation application by the deadline will not be able to have their name included in the commencement program.

Cap and gown, Announcements, and Rings

• Cap and gown, Announcements, and Rings can be purchased through the AWC Bookstore (Please check with the Bookstore at 928-344-7583 for price information).
• Measurement dates are as follows: April 13th-April 16th, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the AWC Bookstore located in the College Union.

Graduation Rehearsal

• Rehearsal will be held the day of graduation, May 15, 2009 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Veterans Memorial Stadium, 7151 E. 24th Street, located west of Arizona Western College Main Campus.

Processional

• Graduates must report to Veterans Memorial Stadium no later than 7:00 pm.
• Begins at approximately 7:40 pm under leadership of the Grand Marshal.

Reception

• A complimentary reception for all AWC graduates, their families, and friends will be held immediately following the ceremony.
