Graduation Procedures
In the final semester of your enrollment, you should apply for graduation. Arizona Western College Policies and Procedures towards graduation are as follows:
- Complete Graduation Application for Degree or Certificate.
- Meet the basic requirements for an associate degree/certificate, as listed in the General Program Requirements section of the catalog. Meet with your advisor/counselor to make certain you have completed all requirements for graduation! NOTE: A minimum of a "C" grade and a minimum 2.00 G.P.A. is required for all courses in a certificate or degree program.
- Provide official transfer credit documentation including advanced placement credit, military transcripts, CLEP scores, etc.
- Pay the $15.00 graduation fee to the Cashier.
- Complete the Learning Outcomes Assessment at the AWC Testing Center
- Submit the completed Application for Graduation to the Office of Enrollment Services located in the College Community Center
You will receive a letter from the Enrollment Services office alerting you of your eligibility to graduate. The $15.00 non-refundable graduation fee will cover the processing, ceremony, and diploma.
Additional Degree and/or Major
A maximum of one A.A.S., one A.G.S., one A.A., A.Bus. Degree and diploma will be awarded. A student may earn recognition of an additional major, subject to the following stipulations:
- All degree and major requirements must be completed.
- Students must apply through the normal graduation application process.
- All course work applying towards a degree or certificate must be completed at a 2.0 "C" grade or higher.
