GRANTS

| Federal Pell Grant |
Pell Grant awards in 2009/2010 up to $5350. The Federal Pell Grant is a need-based grant offered to eligible undergraduate students based on Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Students must complete the FAFSA to be eligible. |
| Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) |
SEOG awards range from $100 - $4,000 per academic year. The SEOG assists students demonstrating exceptional financial need in accordance with guidelines and funding allocations established by the Department of Education and the Office of Financial Aid. |
| Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) |
ACG awards up to $750 to eligible freshmen and up to $1,300 to eligible sophomores. The ACG is a federal grant program created to encourage students to take challenging courses in high school and to pursue college majors in high demand in the global economy. |

| Arizona College Access Aid Program (ACAAP) |
The ACAAP program is the newest state student grant program and is a part of the College Access Challenge Grant through the Governor's office. ACAAP is designed to assist sophomore, junior and senior students with substantial financial need (Pell eligible) who are seeking an associate or baccalaureate degree at any regionally or nationally accredited institution. |
| Special Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (SLEAP) |
The SLEAP program is a component of the LEAP program. SLEAP is a need-based program designed to assist sophomore, junior or senior students with substantial financial need (Pell eligible) , who are majoring in areas determined to be critical workforce needs. SLEAP can be granted at any regionally or nationally accredited institution in Arizona. |
| The Arizona Private Post-Secondary Education Student Financial Assistance Program (PFAP) |
PFAP is a program established by the Arizona State Legislature to provide financial assistance awards to qualified students who wish to complete a baccalaureate degree program and are attending a participating private post-secondary institution. |
| Early Graduation Scholarship Grant (EGSG) |
The EGSG is a non-needs-based program designed to encourage high school students to graduate early and promptly attend a regionally or nationally accredited Arizona post-secondary institution or vocational program. |
