 AGRICULTURE

Arizona Cattle Industry Research and Education Foundation

Scholarships available to full-time students pursuing studies directly or indirectly related to the cattle industry.  Those with ranching or farming experience will be given higher priority.  

Tractor and Equipment Association

Scholarships available to students interested in agriculture and agriculture related sciences majors.

Arizona National Livestock Show

Scholarship available to past participants of Arizona National who are high school graduates and have completed at least 12 college credits upon application, are currently attending college and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.  Requires participation in the Arizona National Livestock Show. 

Yuma U of A Alumni Club Scholarships

Scholarships available to Yuma area high school graduates and AWC graduates who will be enrolling for the first time into one of the U of A Yuma programs.  Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.  

A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Growers Scholarship

Scholarship available to undergraduate students from agricultural backgrounds who are in need of financial assistance to further their education.  Applicant must have a personal or familial background in Arizona or California agriculture.

Catching the Dream

Available to students majoring in education, business, science or engineering.  Applicants must be enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe. 

US Department of Agriculture Scholarships

Combines scholarship/internship opportunities available National Agricultural Statistics Service to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Math, Statistics, various Agriculture related fields and Animal Science majors. 

 

ARTS/JOURNALISM/TV/Broadcasting

Nota M. Hardy

$1000 per year available to students enrolled full-time with a TV/Broadcasting/Journalism major.  Complete General Scholarship Application.

VacationRoost Interactive Marketing Scholarship

Scholarships available to students interested or enrolled in business marketing in relation to online business. 

Minted Design Grant

Available to full-time students enrolled in art or design programs.

Arizona Artists Guild

Scholarships available to undergraduate and graduate students with a fine arts major or minor.  Scholarship includes invitation to exhibit art of student. 

Dr. Alma S Adams Scholarship

Scholarships available to students attending an accredited institution of higher learning in the US.  Applicants will be selected based on a record of commitment to an underserved community as well as the best use of artistic ability (visual, written, media, etc).

ISA Educational Foundation

ISA Educational Foundation scholarships are awarded to college or university students who demonstrate outstanding potential for long-range contribution in the fields of automation and control. 

ASCO Numatics

Scholarships available engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines.  

 

BUSINESS

 

MassMutual Scholars Program

Scholarships available to African American, Asian/Pacific Islander and Hispanic students entering at least the sophomore year of university or college interested in pursuing a career in the insurance and financial services industry. 

National Society of Accountants

Scholarships offered in an effort to assist with expanding educational opportunities and encourage educational achievement.  Scholarships for students majoring in accounting. 

Arizona CPA Foundation for Education and Innovation

Prepares individuals with the highest potential for contribution to the accounting profession in Arizona through initiatives in formal education.  Scholarships available to undergraduate students attending community colleges and private universities.

Available to students majoring in education, business, science or engineering.  Applicants must be enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe. 

James A Turner, Jr Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to students pursuing a 4-year degree in business that will lead to a management career in welding store operations or a welding distributorship.  Must have a high school diploma and be employed in a welding store at the time of submission.

Albert E. Philips Scholarship

The COAA scholarships are intended for full-time undergraduate students who have successfully completed their freshman year with a 2.5 minimum GPA.

Brown Foundation College Scholarships
 

Available to any student of color attending college with a major in education.  Applicants specify a high school senior or current college student application. 

American Chemicals Society

Scholarship available to African American, Hispanic, American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native Pacific Islander students interested in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology and teaching of these subjects. 

TEACH Early Childhood Arizona Scholarship

Scholarship available to potential and current students, 18 years of age or older, employed in Arizona.  Student must work in a licensed child care home, group home or tribally regulated center a minimum of 20 hours per week with children aged birth to 5 years.  For additional scholarship information contact:

Ginger and Fred Deines Scholarship

Scholarships available to students pursuing a career in transportation to include logistics, civil engineering and transportation.  Funds can be used at a four year institution in Mexico or the US.  Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.

Xerox Technical Scholarship Program

Scholarships available to minority undergraduate and graduate students pursuing technical degrees.  Award can apply to students studying, chemistry and other sciences, engineering and technology.

Healthcare Worker Salary The 2015 Healthcare Worker Scholarship is an annual $500 scholarship awarded to a student pursuing a career in the healthcare field.

National Association of Hispanic Nurses Angeles del Desierto

Scholarships available for Hispanic students enrolled in an accredited nursing program.  Must be a resident of Yuma County and have demonstrated financial need with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Contact local office for application.

American Legion Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Arizona offers 3 different scholarships in the field of health care occupations and nurses training. 
The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association National Student Nurses' Association mentors the professional development of future nurses and facilitates their entrance into the profession by providing educational resources, leadership opportunities, and career guidance.  The Foundation awards scholarships to qualified nursing students. 
Yuma Regional Medical Center Foundation The Foundation offers scholarships to students in nursing and other health care fields; not applicable to veterinary science majors.

Scholarships available to undergraduate and graduate students with at least one more year of education remaining.  Must intend to or be enrolled in a health-related field. 

Indian Health Services Scholarship Program

Scholarships available to enrolled members of a state or federally recognized tribe.  Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in any health-related pre-professional program may apply.  Priority given to students who will be working on a reservation. 

National Association for Hispanic Nurses

Awards available to NAHS members enrolled in associate, diploma, baccalaureate, graduate or practical/vocational nursing programs.  Must be currently enrolled in a school of nursing and be a US citizen or legal resident. 

LEGAL/LAW ENFORCEMENT

 

Boy Scouts of America

Scholarships available to former and current members of Boy Scouts of America or those interested in law enforcement. 

Console & Hollawell

The Console & Hollawell Paralegal Scholarship is open to students attending community colleges, technical schools or business schools in the United States pursuing degrees or certifications in paralegal studies, legal assistant, court reporting or other law-related field.

Southern Arizona Logistics Education Organization is offering several $1000 scholarships for post-secondary study in Logistics or Supply Chain field.

The George D Miller Scholarship

Scholarships available for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in fire service or public administration programs in the US or Canada.  Students must be nominated by AWC instructor.

Scholarship available to biology and environmental science majors attending AWC.  Student must be a citizen, US national or lawful refugee. 

Dept of Homeland Security Scholarship
 

Scholarships available to students interested in pursuing basic science and technology innovations that can be applied to the US DHS mission.  Students must be undergraduate US citizens.
