AWC Institutional Scholarships
All scholarship applicants must have completed the 2013-2014 FAFSA before being awarded any institutional funds.
The 2013-2014 FAFSA will be available beginning January 1, 2013.
**Mail or deliver completed application and packet to the AWC Financial Aid and Scholarships Office. Complete a separate application and packet for each scholarship for which you are applying.**

Presidential Scholarship Program
Yuma and La Paz County High School Seniors only

$1000 per year award splits in $500 per semester. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 through the first semester of the senior year. Students are required to include official high school transcript, student resume and an essay describing your educational and career aspirations, proof of citizenship/permanent residency as well as financial need. Complete General Scholarship Application. Scholarship is renewable for four consecutive semesters.

Presidential Teacher of the Year Scholarship Program

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.25. Must include official transcripts from last institution attended, student resume and an essay describing your educational and career goals as well as financial need. Additionally students must be enrolled or plan to enroll in an education major at AWC. The student(s) will be nominated by the Teacher of the Year award winner with the scholarship named after the TOY award winner. Complete General Scholarship Application.

Honors Program Scholarship

Scholarships are available to full-time Honors Program students for up to two years. Funds awarded are based on academic achievement and come in the form of tuition, fee, room/board and/or book waivers. See the AWC Honors Program Department Chair for more information, requirements and application. Please note the deadline for this scholarship may vary from other institutional scholarships.
