General scholarships

 

Forclosure.com Scholarship Program

Scholarship available to currently enrolled undergraduate students with creative solutions or ideas for solving many of the nation's most critical issues with a focus on real estate/housing. 

Spokeo Scholarship

Applicant must be either a recently graduated high school senior who will enroll as a freshman at a four
year or two year college or university OR a student currently enrolled on a full-time basis at an accredited four-year or two-year college or university.  Must have 3.0 GPA minimum and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

MassMutual Scholars Program

Scholarships available to African American, Asian/Pacific Islander and Hispanic students entering at least the sophomore year of university or college interested in pursuing a career in the insurance and financial services industry. 

Community College Scholarship

Monthly scholarship award for students enrolled at a public community college, junior college, technical college or city college.  Must be working toward a certificate, diploma or degree. 

Valley Foundation
 

Must be a US citizen.  Scholarship available to high school and returning college students.  High School students with a GPA that places them in the top 5% will not be considered. 

Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation

The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships through the use of Internet based quiz competitions.  There are no essays or long applications.  A single registration is good from high school through graduate school.

PTK is increasingly concerned about access to higher education for community college students.  They have partnered with three national organizations that provide significant scholarship support to community college students currently attending or transferring to four year institutions.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

Scholarships available to student who work hard, demonstrate a strong will to succeed and have financial need.  Available for undergraduate students transferring to a four year institution. 

American Postal Workers Union/AFL-CIO

Scholarships available to high school seniors who are dependents of American Postal Workers Union members. 

UNCF

Scholarships available to undergraduate students. 

Wal-Mart Foundation

Scholarships available to high school seniors and undergraduate students who are employees or dependents of employees of Wal-Mart. 

Education Portal Scholarships

Various scholarships available to students interested or enrolled in criminal justice, general studies, architecture and computer science/engineering majors.
