The Veteran Services office at Arizona Western College is your point of contact for applying, receiving information, and certifying your educational benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs and/or Department of Defense.

Mission Statement

The mission of Veteran Services is to successfully transition and integrate, student veterans into higher education.  Our goal is to strengthen campus culture and advocate, to provide student veterans with the superior services and supports they deserve.  Veteran Services will collaborate with community veteran organizations and form innovative partnerships, to enhance educational and career opportunities for our student veterans.

Veteran Supportive Campus

Arizona Western College has been designated by the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services (AZDVS) as a Veteran Supportive Campus.

Military Legacy Scholarship

Donations to the Military Legacy Scholarship are tax deductible. All gifts are appreciated and no gift is too small. AWC employees may donate through payroll deductions. If you have any questions, please contact the AWC Foundation at (928) 344-1723 or awcfoundation@azwestern.edu
