The Campus Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1991 (Clery Act) requires the college to report on the occurrence of specific criminal offenses that happen on-campus, in the residence halls, on campus affiliated property and on public property sharing contiguous boundaries with campus property. The AWC Police Department gathers, compiles and reports this data to the college community annually.

In addition to the Main Campus, there are five college centers located within the Arizona Western College District. They are the Redondo Career Center located within the City of Yuma; the San Luis Center in San Luis, Arizona; the Somerton Center in Somerton, Arizona; the Wellton Center in Wellton, Arizona and the Parker/La Paz County Center located in Parker, Arizona.
The listed 2008 Non-Campus statistics were provided by the City of Yuma Police Department and pertain to their jurisdiction adjacent to the main campus and the Redondo Career Center. As of this update, the remaining jurisdictions had yet to respond to AWCPD's request for information.
