How can I get an application?

Applications are available in the Residence Life Office located in the College Community Center - 3C. The Office is open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Should I send the housing application to the coach or to the residence life office?
All housing applications, deposits and immunizations should be sent to the Residence Life Office for processing.
Does my financial aid or athletic scholarship cover my housing deposit?
No, a $100 deposit is required from all incoming students.

How can I pay my housing deposit?
The deposit can be sent with the application to the Residence Life Office. Acceptable methods of payment include cash, check, money order, or credit card. Credit card payments can be made by calling the Residence Life Office at (928) 344-7578.

How do I get my housing deposit back?
Students must check out with a Resident Assistant and follow the proper procedure to be eligible to receive a refund of their deposit. Full deposits are refunded when students follow the check out procedure and there is no room damage, the keys are returned, and there are no pending charges on the student's account. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations made after the cancellation deadline or during the first 10 weeks after the halls open.

Do I pay another housing deposit for the next semester?
No, your housing deposit is carried over as long as you follow proper check out procedures and return your keys at the end of the academic year.

Why do I have to submit immunization records?
Due to the close proximity of the living environment in the residence halls, the College requires every student to have proof of two series of the Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunization. For more immunization information click here

Yes, all students who live in the residence halls are required to have a meal plan. For more information on meals click here

The deadline for payment is the end of the official add/drop period for each semester.

How do I request the same or a different room for the next year?
During the spring semester, there is a reapplication process for returning students to request the same room or a different room.

How can I request a private room?
Students can request a private room on the housing application. Private rooms cost an additional $479.50 which must be paid before the student can be issued a private room. Private rooms will be issued based on availability and the date of the request.

How do I request a room change?
Students can request a change of room three weeks after the residence halls open. All requests must have a valid reason and be approved by the Coordinator for Student Life.

When can I check into my room?
The residence halls open to the general population at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 for the Fall semester and at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 for the Spring semester.

When do the halls close?
The residence halls close Friday, December 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m for the Fall semester and Friday, May 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for the Spring semester.
Do I have to take all of my stuff when the residence halls close?
If you are returning for the spring semester you do not have to move all of your belongings over the winter break. However, the College will not assume responsibility for your items over the break. At the end of the spring semester students are required to move all of their belongings out of the halls.

No, the Residence Halls do not have any storage facilities for students' belongings.

Where do I get my mail while I'm living in the residence halls?
Students are assigned individual mailboxes. Their mailboxes are located in the Game Room which is on the second floor of the College Community Center - 3C.

Can I smoke in my room?
No, Arizona State Law prohibits smoking in the residence halls, in the lounge, and within 20 feet of any entrance/exit.
