Global Leadership Day - My Self. My Community. My World.
Friday, October 12, 2012 - South Wing of the 3C Conference Center
All students at AWC, NAU - Yuma, and U of A - Yuma are invited to attend this free event. Join us to explore your personal leadership style and to learn how to become a global leader. Students can pick up an application in Campus Life, and all applications must be submitted by October 8, 2012 to reserve your spot.
I-Team members prepared food items including spring rolls, won tons, and rice dishes for the campus community on September 20. The students also shared the history and culture of Vietnam, and they had many special souvenirs that helped to give the community a better understanding and appreciation of Vietnamese culture.
Campus Pool Party
International students along with Student Government members and Resident Assistants met at the AWC Campus Pool to play games and get to know each other. The students and staff relaxed and enjoyed the swimming pool while listening to music.
Colorado River Boat Tour
The International Students Program along with Student Government and Residential Life helped kick off the Fall 2012 semester by taking a tour of the Colorado River and Martinez Lake on a paddlewheel boat. The students and staff spent time relaxing on the sand dunes, playing volleyball and football in the water, and having lunch while enjoying the beautiful Yuma weather.
Spring Break April 2012
I-Team joined with Student Government and Residential Life for a three-day trip to California visiting the campus of UCLA, the Natural History Museum, and spending a day at Disneyland.
Lunar New Year 2011
I-Team celebrated Lunar New Year on Thursday, February 3rd at 9:00 PM at the AWC Game Room across from Campus Life.
