Stay Healthy During the Flu Season 

The novel H1N1 (Swine Flu) flu virus that began last April is continuing to infect persons in the U.S. and around the world.  Although Yuma County and AWC are NOT experiencing a high rate of Flu-like illness at this time, it's best to learn NOW how you can PREVENT from getting the H1N1 or Seasonal Flu and stay Healthy!

• Cover your cough.  See www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/covercough.htm/

• Wash hands frequently.  See www.cdc.gov/cleanhands/ 

• If you have a fever, stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever has ended and not using a fever reducer.

• Get a vaccine when it becomes available.
