Matadors Move Back In To Top 20

YUMA, AZ Ė The Top 20 National Poll for menís soccer was released late Tuesday by the NJCAA and Arizona Western Collegeís menís squad moved up to 19th, after only receiving votes last week.
The Matadors are coming off of a win last night to GateWay College and have two more home games this week on Thursday and Saturday.
In this latest release of the poll, three new teams were added along with AWC and they are ASA College, Bryant & Stratton College in New York and Burlington Count College.
Fellow ACCAC members that are currently in the top 20 include Yavapai (13-0-2) ranked fourth and Phoenix College (13-1-0) ranked fifth.
Parkland, Illinois Central and Barton Community College were all dropped from the rankings this week, while five teams are receiving votes. Those teams are Schoolcraft College, Owens C.C., Marshalltown C.C., Johnson County C.C., and Georgia Military.
The AWC men will host Chandler-Gilbert on Thursday at 7pm at the AWC Soccer Field as part of a womenís and menís doubleheader. The women will get things started at 4:30pm followed by the men.
