59-30 win at New Mexico Military Institute pulls Matadors back to 8th in new rankings
Colorado Springs, CO – November 6, 2012 -- Arizona Western College is proud to announce that the Matador Football team has moved back into the top 10 in the latest NJCAA Football Regular Season Poll released earlier today. The Matadors-who used a big second half to throttle New Mexico Military Institute, 59-30, last Saturday afternoon in Roswell, New Mexico-moved up three spots from 11th to 8th in the current poll, moving them directly behind WSFL rival Snow College, who dropped one spot to 7th. The Matadors conclude their 2012 regular season schedule by hosting the 7th-ranked Badgers this Saturday night, November 10th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7PM at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Yuma.
