Mats’ 50-7 win over Phoenix propels them past idle CC-San Francisco in rankings
Yuma, Arizona – October 8, 2012 -- Arizona Western College is proud to announce that the Matador Football team has moved up in the latest ‘Dirty 30’ national football poll from JCGridiron.com. The Matadors-who used two defensive touchdowns and over 200 yards rushing to beat Phoenix College, 50-7, this past Saturday in the Valley of the Sun-moved up one spot to 3rd in the new poll-trailing only top-ranked East Mississippi Community College and 2nd-ranked Iowa Western Community College. The Matadors are one of only two WSFL teams ranked in the ‘Dirty 30’ this week (Snow College is ranked 20th).
