Divisions

  • Athletics
    AWC offers students a chance to participate in college athletics. AWC is a member of the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference, the National Junior College Athletic Association, and a member of the nine team Western States Football League. Men's sports include football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. Women's intercollegiate sports include volleyball, basketball, and softball.

  • Campus Life
    The Department of Campus Life oversees Dining Services, International Student Program, Health Services, Residence Life, Student Activities, and Student Judicial Hearing Services. Supporting the notion that "education isn't just for the classroom", we strive to create opportunities that emphasize healthy lifestyles, communication, critical thinking, identity development, and moral reasoning to assist students in achieving academic success and becoming responsible members of the community.

  • Campus Police
    Arizona Western College maintains its own police and security force. The police department consists of state certified police officers entrusted with enforcement of the state statutes and college directives. Security personnel are utilized in the residence halls during the evening hours and to aid in the well-being of the residence hall students and to help ensure the provision of a safe and secure residential environment. The department keeps a 24-hour police/dispatch service to assist the college community.

  • Enrollment Services
    The Enrollment Services department represents an ongoing effort to provide students with up to date information on admissions, registration, student records, student recruitment and outreach, testing services and important information to include transcripts, degrees and certificates, residency determination and graduation requirements.

  • Student Development Services
    The AWC Student Development team empowers individuals to develop and achieve their goals. We serve a diversified community through friendly, responsive, and innovative services that are people-oriented and student-centered. We value an ethical, effective and knowledgeable approach to life-long learning.

  • Financial Aid
    The Financial Aid Office administers and coordinates aid funds from federal, state, institutional, and private sources. The four major categories of funds include scholarships, grants, student employment, and student loans.
    Director of Financial Aid -Lisa Seale

  • Career Development
    Career Development encourages self-reliance for individuals by promoting comprehensive and systematic career planning as an on-going process. This office assists students with career exploration, advisement, resume writing, interviewing, and job referral. We also host an annual career fair, occupational fairs and job fairs, as well as a cooperative education program enabling students to earn academic credit while employed in the community.
