Transformational Healing Music, Celtic Song, and Chants from around the World

Yuma, AZ (March 26, 2014)— Mount Shasta keyboardist, harmonica and tabla player Anton Mizerak and musician/vocalist Laura Berryhill will present an evening of Celtic songs, transformational healing music and chants from around the world on Wednesday, April 9 at 7PM at Arizona Western College in the Schoening South Wing. This event is being sponsored by AWC Massage Therapy Club and General Admission is $15 and Students are $10. Please call (928) 317-6056 for more information.

Anton Mizerak lives in Mount Shasta and writes his music in nature, believing that our organic experience of sun, wind, water, snow and earth, transmitted through music, can be a valuable nurturing and healing experience. Anton plays keyboards and harmonica. Anton has been a featured performer at many of the Mount Shasta Wesak Celebrations, and has performed at events with Deepak Chopra, Gary Zukav, Jean Houston, Michael Beckwith and Neale Donald Walsh. His music has been featured on the nationally syndicated radio show “Echoes” and the digital New Age Music formats “Soundscapes” and "Spa Channel." His highly acclaimed CD series “When Angels Dream” is a top seller with healers and massage therapists.

Laura Berryhill, also from Mount Shasta, has a master’s degree in music history from the University of Oregon, where she focused on early 17th-century Italian sacred music. As a vocalist she works in a variety of musical styles, from early European music, to folk music of the Celtic cultures, to new age and jazz. She has appeared at Faerieworlds, the Willamette Valley Folk Festival, Oregon Country Fair, the Yachats Celtic Music Festival, and the Festival of Harps in Oakland.

Anton and Laura have toured together extensively performing to acclaim at over 400 venues throughout the 10 Western states. The concert will feature Anton’s original music, Laura's Celtic songs and chants from around the world along with mythological storytelling from the Hindu, Buddhist and Celtic traditions.
