AWCTheatre’s Annual Presentation of “The Vagina Monologues”
Slated for April 26 & 27

Yuma, AZ (March 21, 2013) --- AWCTheatre will once again entertain and educate audiences with “The Vagina Monologues,” which will run for two performances Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, 2013, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the AWC Theater on the college’s main campus located at 2020 south Avenue 8E in Yuma.

Directed this year by AWCTheatre student Amanda Carreno, AWC’s annual presentation of Eve Ensler’s globally relevant production is expected to stimulate minds, alter thought processes, and awaken the Yuma audience to some positive and some negative realities concerning the world-wide treatment of women.

Admission is a donation of $10, or five articles of clean, wearable clothing, or five items of non-perishable food. AWCTheatre uses monetary donations to continue to bring the best possible theatre to the Yuma community; donates clothing to the Crossroads Mission; and donates the food to the Yuma Community Food Bank.

For more information, please contact AWCTheatre Professor Chip Straley at chip.straley@azwestern.edu, or 928-344-7592.
