Band Clinic Slated for March 23 at Gila Ridge High School
Yuma, AZ (March 14, 2013)— For the second event of the AWC Jazz Festival, the Fred Forney Quartet will conduct a band clinic on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Gila Ridge High School Auditorium, 7150 East 24th Street in Yuma.
The clinic will focus on performance, style, balance, and other musical aspects for the local high school and middle school jazz ensembles. Each band will get an hour with the quartet. The clinic will begin at 11 a.m. and runs until the last of the scheduled bands; the final schedule will be available at the clinic.
The event is free and open to the public.
