Introduction to Dreamweaver CS6 Course Offered by AWC Continuing Ed

Yuma, Arizona (November 13, 2012) – The AWC Continuing Education Department is offering Introduction to Dreamweaver CS6, a six-week, non-credit, web-based course in which participants will learn to create Web pages, layouts and websites using CSS formatting options and other tools with Adobe’s industry-standard Web design application.

Participants will also gain experience working with images, building navigation elements, discussing effective layout methods, understanding where and when to use tables, and examining successful site planning strategies. Ed2go certificates and Continuing Education Units are awarded upon successful completion of the course.

The course costs $95 and begins on November 14. People may register at www.ed2go.com/awc. After adding the course to their shopping carts, they can pay with Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express. Or they can choose the “pay later” option, to pay with check or cash at the AWC E-Center, 1351 S. Redondo Center Dr., or for their organization or business to pay for their enrollment via a third party billing form.

Dreamweaver CS6 is part of AWC’s Continuing Education’s growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. And they can access the classroom 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). The courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course, pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback and facilitating discussions.

For more information, please contact Carmen Madero, Coordinator of Enrollment Services for Continuing Education, at continuinged@azwestern.edu, or (928) 317-6186.
