One Week Lifeguard Certification Class Announced
Yuma, AZ (July 12, 2012) — Jump in the pool and learn how to save a life at Arizona Western College this month.
Based on local demand for lifeguards, Arizona Western College is offering the American Red Cross certification class for lifeguarding, including CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training.
The course starts Monday, July 23 at the
AWC Pool, which is located next to the Gym. Classes run from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday – Friday, and the cost is $70 per person. Students must be 15 years old or older. Equipment is provided. If there is enough interest, a second class will be added in August.
