Arizona Western Matador Volleyball Camp kicks off July 26th at ‘The House’
Yuma, Arizona – July 2, 2010 -- Arizona Western College is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Arizona Western Matador Volleyball Camp will be held Monday through Thursday, July 26th through the 29th at 'The House' on the AWC campus. All campers will receive quality instruction from AWC Head Volleyball Coach Jason Smith, Assistant Coach Jon Killingbeck as well as several current and former AWC Matadors’ volleyball players.
Campers will learn the fundamental skills of passing, serving, hitting, setting and blocking as well as learn about different offensive and defensive systems of play. The four-day camp is for boys and girls entering grades 7 through 12, and will run from 9AM to 4PM each day. The morning session will be from 9AM-Noon, and then there will be an hour break for lunch (campers should bring their lunch or money to buy food from the Eatery). The afternoon session will be from 1-4PM, and campers should be picked up promptly at 4PM.
The cost of the camp is $125. Available spots in the camp are on a first-come, first-served basis, and a camp flyer and registration form can be downloaded by clicking on the link below:
