January 28th, 2013- PACTO Grant agenda and update...

Construction- the construction project is on target. Awaiting final approvals for the drawings by NAU. The project is slotted to begin February 11th, 2013. We have chosen Pilkington Construction as the commercial contractor, for all three phases of the project.

AVID- the AVID contract is on the board agenda to be signed.

Technology- Campus EAI has agreed that it can perform the duties the grant has requested. We are not compiling a more specific list of tasks the program must be able to perform (data retrieval, etc.).

New Positions- we interviewed for the student/activity services coordinator position January 24th @ 2:00 p.m., many qualified candidates applied. The senior secretary and the technology initiative coordinator are still in the application stage, which means we are still awaiting the close date to begin interview process.

-Working with NAU on their positions as well. They want to submit an amenment as the benefits were created incorrectly.

Miscellaneous- working on the following items: web page monthly updates, creating an AVID training team, choosing external evaluator (received 7 applications, will officially review as a team January 31st),
