December 2012- PACTO Grant agenda and update

 

The processes of the college and the grant of finally coinciding. The three positions: activity/student support coordinator, senior secretary, and data manager will be posted by early January as they all passed the board this month.

The bid for construction contractor has been sent out and we are awaiting activity. The process requires us to submit for formal bidding. Received 3 RFQ's and will review as a committe on December 10th.

Patterson/Thompson architects pc have been chosen as the architects (Nov. 21). Chris Thompson is the point person for the firm. The plans have been drawn-up and submitted to both institutions for changes. Due to the short month, January will be the month we finalize plans and pricing on the construction piece.

The AVID contract has been received (Dec. 6th) and is being viewed by upper management for signature or changes.
