HONORS COUNCIL

Members of the Honors Council include the Honors Director, faculty, administrative staff, the student President of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and the Honors Secretary.

The Council meets throughout the semester to oversee the operation of the Honors Program. One of their chief responsibilities is selecting student candidates for admission to the Program. For more information, please visit the section on the Honors Council in the Honors Handbook

The Honors Director, (Liz Renaud)

The Honors Director is selected from the AWC Faculty to serve for three years. This person is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Program. The Director reports to the Honors Council and to the Dean of Instruction, Linda Elliot-Nelson.
