What can be learned about student learning in 60 seconds?

A minute of time seems like an insufficient amount of time to gauge something about what students learned. Perhaps not. Take a look at some of the ideas used by faculty (see links below) that take up small bites of time but reveal (surprisingly much in some instances) salient information about what students are thinking and learning about a given topic.
