Focus on Writing Group

On July 22-24, 2009, a four member team from Arizona Western College attended an NCA/HLC assessment workshop, "Making a Difference in Student Learning: Assessment as a Core Strategy" in Lisle, IL.  The AWC team worked alongside with other institutions, Commission staff and assessment mentors, and dedicated time to focus on mapping out an institutional action strategy. As a result, the Focus on Writing Team was born with an initiative supported by the AWC Administration and Faculty.
