Learn more about the wonders of planet earth...

Geoscience is an all-encompassing term for sciences related to planet Earth.  Geoscience includes the study of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, oceans and biosphere, as well as the solid earth. Geoscientists commonly use interdisciplinary tools from other disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics to build a better understanding of how Earth and its systems work and how Earth has evolved to its current state.

Science faculty have created "in-house" videos to supplement lecture material. To watch these videos click here to access the AWC Streaming Video Server. The videos are listed by the date they were uplaoded to the server. Use the SEARCH tool in the upper right portion of the screen. A good starting point is to type in 'geoscience'.
