Honors Open House
2011-2012
The Honors Program holds an "Open House" every Spring and Fall. This event is open to students and faculty. The main goal for our open house events is to bring together students and faculty to introduce and become familiar with the Honors Society and also welcome potential honors students.

Our Honor's Open House theme this semester was cultural food and music. Many of our honors students have their own unique cultures and we wanted to share this with our fellow students, faculty and staff. The event turned out great! Many of us got a chance to share a diverse amount of delicious food!

Several dishes were inspired by diverse cultures from our very own honors students around the world from Africa, Iraq, and Mexico.
Fellow honors students can't wait to get a piece of the colorful feast.

Thank you to all the staff who came out to join us for this fun event!

The open house events are always a great way for students and faculty to interact with one another and become familiar with the honors center. Several students showed off their art work as well as sharing some of their poetry and writing with everyone.

Along with the delicious food, great music and company, there were also several activities and games that took place afterwards. We welcome anyone who is interested in the Honors Program to come to these events to learn more about the center and what it has to offer.

We want to thank everyone who came out this year to join us for this special Honors Open House!

We hope to see you next year!
