As a current student of Arizona Western College you may already know that AWC offers many of its courses through a variety of distance education delivery systems. At Arizona Western College, distance education means instruction that is delivered to the learner regardless of time, and/or geographical location, and/or courses delivered via Interactive television to sites throughout Yuma and La Paz Counties.

For Online Learners, AWC provides a short tutorial/Orientation class that will help you succeed in the online environment. ORI-102, First Course is available as a 1 credit course and can be taken at any time although we strongly recommend taking it before you register for online classes or take it concurrently with them.
