Computer Bank and Work Areas for Faculty

Our office space is in transition.  By the end Fall semester 2015, the CTE will house 1 small conference room (CTE 122) and 1 open conference alcove (previously Biri's desk and office supplies).  Both conference spaces will contain a large conference table, 8 chairs, PC, wall mounted monitor and telephone.

8 PCs, 1 Mac, printers, document scanner, and a Scantron machine are located in the CTE's computer bank in addition to a laminator, electric hole puncher, etc.

The CTE will be sporting a new copy machine this fall 2015.  This machine, affectionately referred to as RICOH, is available for small copy jobs (30 copies or fewer).  Faculty are asked to take all other copying needs to the Print Services Lab (unofficially known as the Print Shop) where each faculty member can make up to 1,000 copies per day on white paper at no charge.  500 colored copies are allowed per day at no charge. Copy requests also can be submitted electronically. Click here to access the Print Services login page.

Sofas, chairs, and tables to network with colleagues over a hot or cold beverage can all be found adjacent to the computer bank. Starting Fall 2015, the CTE will offer a filtered water bottle refilling station for Faculty.

Various publications will be available for reading within the CTE.  At this time, current issues of The Chronicle of Higher Education (CHE) are available on the coffee table.  If you wish to receive via email the Chronicle's electronic edition entitled Academe Today, then please contact Biridiana Martinez. Within the academic year, we hope to offer local and state newspapers in hard copy and select journals or other publications in electronic format for perusal from CTE tablets.
