Our office space is in transition. By the end of the Fall semester 2015, the CTE will house one small conference room (CTE 122) and one open conference alcove (previously Biri's desk and office supplies). Both conference spaces will contain a large conference table, 8-10 chairs, PC, wall mounted monitor and teleconference system. CTE 122 will continue to be available to Adjunct Faculty as potential work-space.
10 PCs, 1 Mac, printers, scanner, laminator, copy machine and two Scantron machine are located in the CTE's technology center. The CTE will be sporting a new copy machine this Fall 2015. This machine, affectionately referred to as RICOH, is available for small copy jobs (20 copies or fewer). Faculty are asked to take all other copying needs to the Print Services Lab where each faculty member can make up to 1,000 copies per day on white paper at no charge. 500 black and white copies on color paper are allowed per day at no charge.
Sofas, chairs, and tables to network with colleagues over a hot or cold beverage and healthy snacks can all be found adjacent to the Technology Center. CTE also offers a filtered water bottle refilling station and microwave for Faculty.
Current issues of the Chronicle of Higher Education (CHE) and the Yuma Sun are available in hard copy within the CTE Offices. Other Publications can be accessed via AWC/NAU Academic Library portal with three Surface 2 tablets and one iPad within the CTE offices.
