What kinds of classes can you look forward to in this program?
Basic Emergency Medical Technology
The basic EMT course covers all techniques of emergency care currently considered as responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician. Skills are developed in recognizing signs and symptoms of illness and injury and proper procedures of emergency care. This course includes the study of anatomy, physiology, triage, patient assessment, and stabilization of patients.
Fire Academy
This course will equip you with knowledge and practical skills necessary for certification as an entry-level firefighter.
Fundamentals of Fire Protection
This course provides an overview to fire protection: career opportunities in fire protection and related fields; philosophy and history of fire protection/service; fire loss analysis; organization and function of public and private fire protection services.
How long will it take you to complete this degree?
Taking classes full-time, you can complete this 73-credit degree in four or five semesters.
