This program will help you prepare for the EMT examination and to apply to the Arizona Department of Health Services, Office of Emergency Medical Services for certification as an EMT.

Basic Emergency Medical Technology
You will learn about all techniques of emergency care currently considered as responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician. Skills are developed in recognizing signs and symptoms of illness and injury and proper procedures of emergency care. Includes study of anatomy, physiology, triage, patient assessment, and stabilization of patients.

Taking classes full-time, you can complete this 12-credit certificate in one semester.
