Sciencing and Discovery
In this hands-on course you will explore activities and ideas that help children handle, observe, or compare various aspects of their natural environment.
Emerging Literacy
You will study the development of reading and writing skills for young children. You will learn the process of reading and writing along with appropriate environment and adult responses.
Music and Creative Movement
This fun course will explore the use of music and creative movement in the early childhood curriculum. You will also learn methods for providing a variety of appropriate music and movement experiences.
How long will it take you to complete this certificate?
Taking classes full-time, you can complete this certificate within one or two semesters. Once the 17-credit hours are completed, you will have a broad range of knowledge and experience within the field.
