In this class you will study the preschool child’s total learning environment, incorporating indoor, outdoor, and community aspects. The importance of well organized learning centers and age appropriate equipment and materials is stressed.
Music and Creative Movement
This course will help you understand how music and creative movement play a part in early childhood development. You will learn a variety of appropriate music and movement experiences.
Family Childcare as a Small Business
After taking this course, you will have a better understanding of the multifaceted aspects of the business of providing family childcare. These aspects include zoning, certification, insurance, hours of care, fees, advertising, and parent/provider agreements.
