This introductory course will introduce computer and information security topics: threats, protective techniques, risk analysis, contingency planning, password techniques, encryption, biometrics, network protocols, intercept devices, and internet resources.
Fundamentals of Network Security
In this course you will learn security measures and explore new and emerging technologies for computer networks in preparation for the industry standard security exam.
Information Security
In this course you will be exposed to the management of information security, data-processing facilities, appropriate uses of information technology, risk management, information technology laws, issues of privacy, and security planning.
Intro to Computer Information Systems
Introduction of computer hardware and software, computer terminology, the data processing cycle, and characteristics of programming languages, with emphasis on the use of applications software in processing business data.
Computer Programming Logic
You will learn the fundamental techniques used in designing computer programs. Comprehensive coverage of industry-accepted standards will be stressed.
Intro to Operating Systems
This introductory course will explore the internal logic of various parts of common operating systems and access to Windows, DOS, and UNIX/Linux Systems.

Taking Classes full time, you can complete this 20-credit certificate in two semesters.
