
We offer three levels of Nursing education opportunities
Nursing Program
- Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Nursing may be completed within 2 years of admission into the program
- Graduates are eligible to seek licensure as a registered nurse (RN)
- Designed to provide a Practical Nurse exit, an Associate Degree exit, and eligibility for entrance into a Baccalaureate Degree program in nursing.
Practical Nursing
- Practical Nursing Certificate is an exit option of the AAS program and may be completed within 3 semesters of admission into the program
- Following successful completion of the 2 first semesters of the associate degree in nursing, students desiring to earn a Practical Nurse certificate take a summer semester course. Students are also eligible after the 3rd semester.
- Graduates are eligible to seek licensure as a Practical Nurse
Nursing Assistant
- Download the Nursing Assistant course description.
- Certificate 5 credit course (1 semester)
- Prepares the learner for taking the state examination to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and work in health care settings
