Art in the Village Launches Hand Painted Adirondack Chair Raffle

Celebrating Yuma’s winter outdoor lifestyle, Yuma Palms Regional Center is partnering with Arizona Western College Entrepreneurial Center artists to raffle off hand painted deck furniture so you can really relax in the sun this season.

20 adult Adirondack chairs will be raffled off, but these aren’t just any old pine pieces. Each of the chairs will be turned into a one-of-a-kind art object by AWC Entrepreneurial Center artists.

All proceeds from the ticket sales will be distributed evenly between two local non-profit organizations: The Boys & Girls Club and Crossroads Mission Family Shelter. Volunteers will be selling raffle tickets beginning January 13 through March 24.

Drawing for all the chairs will take place on Thursday, March 24, at the Jazz Series. Winners need not be present to win.
