A patron must provide one of the following at the Circulation Desk:

• A current AWC or NAU in Yuma student I.D., or

• A picture I.D.; proof of current mailing and street address in Yuma or La Paz Counties; a social security number or date of birth; evidence of being at least 18 years of age.

• Proof of street address includes such items as current utility bills, imprints on personal checks, voter registration card, bank statement, etc.

• Individuals 13 to 17 years of age must have parental permission to apply for an Academic Library card. Exception: students with proof of enrollment at AWC or NAU-Yuma do not need permission.

• No cards are issued to children under 13 years of age.

Dorm Students.
In addition to the above requirements:

• Must provide a secondary address as well as their AWC Dorm address.

Winter Visitors and other non-residents of Yuma or La Paz counties.
In addition to the above requirements:

• Must provide proof of their out-of-state address.

• Must provide proof of their local address.

Remote Site/Distance Students.
