Creating links to articles from library databases

This tool will create stable links to articles licensed by the Academic Library. The process of creating links vary from resource to resource and stable links are not available for every resource. On this page, you may enter a link and the resulting URL will be displayed with special coding. Please be aware that this URL will only work if the resource is licensed by the Academic Library. To comply with copyright laws, you should link to an article in your online course or website using a stable link instead of uploading the PDF or text file.

1. Copy the URL from the database.
2. Paste the URL into the top box.
3. Click "Click to Create Persistent Link." The new URL will appear in the bottom box.
4. The converted URL is now your persistent link and can be copied, saved, or shared for later use.
