Associate Faculty
Part-time Faculty/Instructor teaching interest forms are continually accepted for classes being taught during day-time and evening hours, weekends and in seminar formats. You can obtain a teaching interest form on our website. Transfer disciplines require a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline. Career and special interest courses (not for transfer) require: Associate degree, certificate, or licensure at the level being taught and 3 years of related work experience may be substituted for a baccalaureate degree. Return completed form, resume, and a copy of your transcripts to: Learning Support Services (LSS), P.O. Box 929, Yuma, AZ 85366. Upon review of your interest form, the LSS office will contact you regarding your teaching interest for AWC. For additional information please call (928) 317-7661. Please complete both the application and a teaching interest form to be considered for Associate Faculty positions.

Classified
POLICE OFFICER - $18.13 p/hr. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, including graduation from an accredited Law Enforcement Academy, and a currently certified Arizona police officer. Must be available to work a rotating shift assignment, including day, afternoon, and midnight shifts. Preference will be given to candidates who possess an associate degree or a minimum of 60 college credits.

CAMPUS PHOTOGRAPHER - $10.15 p/hr. High School diploma or equivalent. Portfolio review required, posses experience with digital imaging and editing software, strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills, ability to follow directions with minimal supervision, ability to meet deadlines, have reliable transportation and current drivers license, must be able to read and write English fluently, ability to lift boxes of 20-25 lbs and move them as needed, must have a pleasant attitude and be able to work with diverse populations.

CUSTODIAN (Quartzsite) - $7.38 p/hr. Working hours: Monday through Wednesday: 4:30 p.m. through 9:30 p.m., 30 minute break. Thursday: 4:00 through 10:00 p.m., 30 minute break. Accomplish the following daily tasks: Clean floors and carpets; clean and re-stock restrooms; clean classrooms to include dusting, vacuuming and cleaning whiteboards; empty all trash containers and replace liners as needed; inspect exterior of building and remove debris and litter. Accomplish the following tasks as needed: Vacuum and dust office and reception areas on a weekly schedule; wash windows on a bi-weekly schedule; clean sidewalks and parking areas of sand and debris as needed; order supplies from Yuma Facilities Management as needed to ensure stock is on hand at all times; assist in special event setups as needed and replace furniture and clean area after function; maintain daily communication with Yuma Facilities Management Director of Operations, report any maintenance and/or operational issues; maintain communication with Parker Learning Center Facilities and Supervisory staff; follow all MSDS and PPE requirements as needed; perform related duties as required.
Ability to read and understand label directions, capable of selecting and properly using appropriate personal protective equipment. Ability to understand and maintain an MSDS log, ability to operate floor buffer, shampooer and vacuum cleaner. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Possess a valid Driver's license.
Note: May be expected to perform overtime duties as required and to report to work for emergency situations including evenings, weekends and holidays.
