Faculty Appraisal 2014-2015

AWC uses a homegrown faculty appraisal instrument developed by a committee of faculty members. The Faculty Appraisal Committee (FAC) completed a revision of the instrument and process in Spring 2011. Student evaluation of full-time and adjunct faculty will move in two phases to an online appraisal software system. Phase 1 involves full-time faculty only and is scheduled for implementation fall semester 2014. Phase 2 involves adjunct faculty and is tentatively scheduled for implementation fall semester 2015. The software platform to be used for the online student evaluation of faculty is Tk20. A small group of faculty beta-tested the Tk20 software during spring and summer 2014 sessions. The purpose of this beta-testing phase was to identify and work out any technical issues with students having access to the online faculty evaluation platform.
